broncos34    Neill Daniel was dealing with a lot of personal demons. some more obvious than others. It's unknown as to what caused 'the final straw to break the camel's back' but he decided he couldn't handle it anymore. He decided to end his life sometime between the evening of Dec.27, 2015 and early morning of Dec.28, 2015. He had 5 grandchildren ,1 daughter and a Wife that are shocked at his sudden death during this holiday season. Please help in any way possible to help with his final expenses. This will help tremendously in helping his family deal with this tragic loss.

 

Zaph    Christopher A. Shoemaker, 42, of Mount Cobb, died Tuesday following a courageous battle from massive infections for more than 30 days in the ICU at Geisinger CMC.

Born in Scranton, he is the son of Marian Plasco and fiancÚ, Ken Beerman, Reading, and William A. Shoemaker Sr. and stepmother, Candace Shoemaker, Moosic. A graduate of Bishop Hoban High School, Wilkes-Barre, he attended Mansfield University, and was a former member of Maria Goretti Church, Laflin. Chris was the owner/operator of Chris' Aftermarket Auto Supply, Mount Cobb.

He is also survived by his daughter, Zoe, Martinsburg, W.Va.; brothers, Paul David Kester and companion, Roxanne; and Steven Richard Kester, both of Pittston, William Shoemaker and wife, Juanita, Cincinnati, Ohio; Charles Shoemaker and wife, Kelly, Nanticoke; and sister, Ellyn Shoemaker/Evarts, Honesdale. He will also be remembered by his stepfather, Robert Plasco, Lebanon; stepbrothers and sisters, Matthew Popik and wife, Danielle, New Cumberland; Robert Plasco Jr., Pittsburgh; Michael Plasco, Allentown; Kelly Elder and husband, Chuck, Lake Ariel; Linda Adams and fiancÚ, Richie Bobitka, New York; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy; and a nephew, Alexander.

Chris especially enjoyed time with his daughter, Zoe, as well as family members and friends. He was an avid collector of music and had an amazing gift for computer technology. Chris was a kind and loving person, who extended his hand to anyone in need, and will live forever in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 3 p.m. in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Ave., Scranton, PA 18505.

Family and friends are invited to attend or visit from 1 until time of services at 3 p.m.

                SAWYERS, 43

PASADENA, MD. - William George Sawyers, 43, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in a boating accident near his home in Pasadena, MD.
Bill was born in Lakeland and attended John Cox Elementary and Lake Gibson Schools. He attended Newberry College and the University of Florida, and attained his PhD in Chemistry at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lakeland, FL.
Bill is survived by his longtime love, Cheryl Horton, his parents Jim and Carol Sawyers, sister Andrea Sawyers of Massachusetts, brother Jim Sawyers (Shelly) of Tampa, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts may be given to the Youth Program of Grace Lutheran Church in Lakeland.
